Job Overview
The Contracts Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the full contract lifecycle across multiple entities, ensuring billing accuracy, compliance, and revenue integrity.
The role leads a team of Contract Administrators, Billing Administrators, and Revenue Accountants, ensuring high standards of governance, contract loading accuracy, billing validation, and audit readiness. This position plays a critical role in financial control, commercial risk mitigation, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Oversight

Lead and manage a team of 8 across 7 entities

Allocate and prioritise workload

Provide coaching, guidance, and performance oversight

Ensure familiarity with entity-specific terms and conditions
Contract Governance & Quality Control
-
Review and approve contract calculations and uploads
-
Approve refunds, cancellations, and credits
-
Ensure compliance with pricing approvals and audit requirements
Billing Accuracy & Revenue Assurance

Oversee accurate and timely billing
-
Validate project billing consolidation
-
Monitor and resolve billing discrepancies
Compliance & Risk Management
-
Ensure data integrity and internal control compliance
-
Identify and escalate contractual and commercial risks
-
Maintain audit-ready documentation
Contract Lifecycle Management

Oversee annual price escalations
-
Support renewals, amendments, and account consolidations
-
Ensure contract changes are accurately captured
Stakeholder Collaboration

Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations

Provide reporting and risk insights to management
Continuous Improvement

Enhance contract processes and workflows

Support training and capability development

Attend to journal entries and ad-hoc finance duties
Qualifications
Education
Minimum:

Accounting qualification or equivalent (essential)
Experience

Experience leading or supervising a team

Strong background in contract administration and billing

Exposure to ERP or SaaS contract environments

Understanding of audit, compliance, and governance frameworks
