🔍 Introduction

IGrow Wealth Investments, South Africa’s leading investment company, is seeking a detail-oriented Conveyancing Secretary to join their Developments Team in Durbanville, Cape Town. The ideal candidate will combine legal knowledge with administrative expertise to thrive in a fast-paced conveyancing environment, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellent service delivery.


🎯 Key Responsibilities

Conveyancing Support & Administration

  • Assist the developments team with general conveyancing secretarial tasks.

  • Draft conveyancing documents and prepare lodgement files for the Deeds Office.

  • Furnish parties with final statements of account after property registration.

  • Attend to manual SARS applications for Transfer Duty Receipts and Exemption Certificates.

  • Maintain accurate administrative records and correspondence.

Client & Stakeholder Liaison

  • Communicate effectively with clients, linked attorneys, SARS, municipalities, rates agents, and homeowners’ associations.

  • Manage relationships with agents and institutions to obtain required transfer documents.

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transfer processes.

Software & Reporting

  • Work on conveyancing software, specifically E4, and accounting software such as AJS.

  • Use SearchWorks for relevant searches and documentation.

  • Maintain high computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other office applications.


🛠 Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Matric certificate (essential).

  • Legal Secretary, Paralegal, or Conveyancing qualification is advantageous.

  • Bilingual in English and Afrikaans (written and spoken).

  • Proven experience in conveyancing secretarial roles.

  • Solid understanding of legal procedures and property transfer processes.

  • Experience handling high volumes of transfers in a fast-paced environment.
