🔑 Purpose of the Role:

As a Cook, you will be responsible for the daily preparation of food in accordance with kitchen production requirements. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality food service, particularly in a hospital or healthcare environment.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals in batches, tailored for a hospital or healthcare facility.

• Maintain food quality, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.

• Support the broader kitchen team with general duties as required.

• Assist with the presentation of food to ensure it is both appealing and nutritious.

• Contribute to the efficient operation of the kitchen, ensuring smooth and timely service delivery.

🎓 Education & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Cook in a contract catering or similar environment is essential.

• Matric (Grade 12).

• A formal Food and Beverage or Culinary Arts qualification.

• Prior hospital kitchen or healthcare food service experience is highly advantageous.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet daily production timelines.
