🎯 Role Purpose

The CPD Field Trialist Intern will assist with field activities, contributing to the development and evaluation of innovative crop protection solutions. You will support field trial execution, data collection, and analysis, helping enhance Syngenta’s product pipeline. 📌 Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring crop protection field trials

  • Collect, process, and analyse field trial data for Crop Protection Development

  • Support documentation of methodologies, results, and observations

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and accuracy

  • Contribute to reporting on trial outcomes and recommendations

  • Maintain compliance with safety and operational protocols during field activities


🎓 Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (B.Sc. Agriculture or B. Agric)

  • Strong academic performance and motivation

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Strong language skills (Afrikaans and English)

  • Agriculture knowledge/exposure is an advantage for technical understanding
