Job Purpose:
The primary goal of this role is to engage with customers to secure a Promise to Pay, while ensuring that collections and arrears targets are consistently met. This position offers hands-on experience and the chance to grow within a dynamic and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Customer Engagement:

Initiate and maintain effective communication with customers, securing relevant information for payment agreements.

Handle customer queries and ensure a positive interaction that reflects Pepkor’s customer service standards.
✔ Customer-Centric Approach:

Provide clear, compliant, and customer-friendly service, ensuring customers’ needs are met professionally and promptly.

Ensure that each interaction is handled with respect, offering solutions in line with company policies.

Competency Requirements:
Knowledge:

Understanding of Pepkor Lifestyle’s policies and collections systems.

Familiarity with relevant legislation such as CPA (Consumer Protection Act) and NCA (National Credit Act).

Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other relevant applications.
Skills:

Strong telephone etiquette with excellent negotiation skills.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Conflict management abilities and emotional intelligence.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

Matric Certificate is required.
