Ria Money Transfer, a business segment of Euronet Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: EEFT), is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Care Representative to join its Johannesburg-based team. This role offers the opportunity to work within a global financial services organisation that delivers fast, secure, and affordable money transfer solutions across nearly 200 countries.
Role Purpose
The Customer Care Representative will serve as a key point of contact for agents and customers, providing accurate information regarding money transfer transactions and resolving queries efficiently and professionally. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset within a fast-paced service environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assist agents and end customers (senders and beneficiaries) via telephone and email

Resolve customer queries, complaints, and transaction-related concerns

Review and correct data for incorrectly processed transactions

Maintain ongoing communication with correspondent agents in destination countries

Liaise with the accounting department to reconcile and process refunds for cancelled transactions

Ensure all customer interactions are handled professionally and in line with service standards

Accurately document and update case information on internal systems
Position Requirements
Minimum Qualifications

Completed high school or college qualification
Experience
-
At least one year of experience in customer service or a call centre environment
Skills & Competencies

Good working knowledge of MS Office and internet-based systems

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong customer orientation and problem-solving ability

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Flexibility to work after-hours, weekends, and rotational schedules

Reliable high-speed internet connection for remote work when required
