π Role Overview
Le Creuset is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Agent to support its customer service operations from Johannesburg. This role plays a key part in delivering premium customer care across multiple digital and voice platforms, including live chat, customer helplines, email support, and social media messaging.
The successful candidate will also act as a liaison between the Johannesburg-based ecommerce operations team and the Cape Town customer service team, ensuring customer requests are prioritised, resolved efficiently, and handled within agreed service levels.
Please note that weekend and public holiday work may be required.
π― Key Responsibilities

Respond to customer enquiries and complaints via live chat, telephone, email, and social media channels

Resolve customer issues professionally and within defined service level agreements

Capture, update, and maintain accurate customer information on CRM systems

Assist customers by locating stockists and sourcing products when required

Follow up on customer enquiries to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction

Process and manage faulty product returns from consumers

Provide guidance on product care, usage, and suitability
-
Liaise with internal ecommerce and customer service teams to support seamless service delivery

Perform additional reasonable duties as required within the scope of the role
π§ Skills, Experience, and Requirements

Minimum of 2 yearsβ experience in a customer support or customer service role
-
Working knowledge of CRM systems or database platforms
-
High standard of verbal and written English communication

Strong telephone handling skills with active listening ability
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook at intermediate level
-
Microsoft Dynamics 365 knowledge is advantageous

Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset

Ability to work under pressure while maintaining service excellence
