Role Overview

The Customer Service Officer at the Tongaat Distribution Centre ensures the continuous and accurate flow of information to stores regarding order status and estimated time of arrivals (ETA). You will manage store queries, support operational efficiency, and ensure seamless communication across teams.

Key Responsibilities

📦 Order Management: Coordinate and manage all store orders, including Jab orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
📞 Communication: Maintain daily contact with store managers and regional teams to ensure seamless distribution operations.
🛠️ Help Desk Support: Handle and resolve store queries professionally and efficiently.
📊 Pallet Control: Implement and oversee effective pallet control procedures to maintain smooth operations.
🖥️ Data & Systems: Utilize key systems to track orders, update information, and generate reports as required.

Requirements

🎓 Education & Experience: Matric required; Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain advantageous. Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in warehousing or a similar environment.
💻 Technical Skills: Computer literate and proficient in key operational systems.
🗣️ Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
🔍 Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and problem-solving capabilities.
