Job Mission / Purpose:

As a Customer Service Representative at Stryker, you will be the communication bridge between Stryker and our customers. This is a dynamic role where you will offer proactive and professional support to our customer base, ensuring timely and efficient processing of orders, queries, invoices, and requests. Your responsibilities will focus on delivering exceptional service that aligns with Stryker’s mission to enhance the quality of healthcare.


Key Responsibilities:

📞 Customer Support Excellence:

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers, handling orders, queries, requests for information, and general support.
  • Provide proactive customer support to Sales Representatives and Technical Services Engineers, ensuring smooth operations and problem resolution.

📝 Order and Quotation Processing:

  • Process sales orders, quotations, and invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain and promote the growth of automated ordering systems, streamlining processes for faster customer service.

📦 Delivery and Logistics:

  • Manage and track On-Time In-Full KPIs, ensuring timely delivery of products to meet customer needs.
  • Work towards meeting service levels and KPIs, continually improving delivery and customer satisfaction.

🔄 Process Improvement:

  • Seek opportunities for continuous improvement in departmental services and processes, with a focus on quality, productivity, and customer engagement.
  • Support the sales and marketing teams in achieving company sales targets by promoting excellent service.

📊 Team Support and Leadership:

  • Collaborate with the wider Customer Logistics team during peak periods, especially at month and quarter-end.
  • Lead by example, contributing to team engagement and participating in departmental projects and initiatives.

Education/Experience:

Required Qualifications:

  • Matric (or equivalent qualification).
  • 2 years’ experience as a Customer Service Operative or Specialist, preferably in a similar environment.
  • Proven communication and writing skills.
  • Customer care experience and computer literacy.

Essential Skills and Competencies:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience and a proactive attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure.
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and teams.
