As a member of the Customer Support team, you will play a crucial part in building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers, providing them with an outstanding service experience. Key Responsibilities:
🔑 Customer Interaction & Service Excellence
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, offering personalized service to meet their specific workwear needs.
- Engage with customers to address queries, concerns, and requests, ensuring quick resolution and satisfaction.
- Take incoming customer calls and provide assistance with product inquiries, quotations, and order processing.
📦 Order Management & Quotation Preparation
- Assist in the preparation of quotations for current and future orders, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Capture new orders promptly, manage the flow of orders efficiently, and collaborate with External Advisors when necessary.
- Ensure stock levels are well-maintained, and products are merchandised according to company standards.
đź’ł Payment Processing & Accountability
- Process customer payments at the Point of Sale (POS) and take responsibility for the cash desk when needed.
- Handle payments and transactions with accuracy and a high level of integrity.
⏰ Flexibility & Availability
- Be available to work weekends when required to accommodate customer needs.
Required Experience & Skills:
🎓 Educational Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
đź’Ľ Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service or sales support role, preferably within retail or workwear environments.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) with advanced Excel skills (spreadsheets).
- Syspro knowledge is advantageous, though not essential.
🗣️ Communication Skills:
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- A well-spoken individual with an exceptional telephone manner.
