Are you ready to take on a dynamic customer-facing role with one of South Africa’s leading workwear brands? Jonsson Workwear is looking for a dedicated Customer Support Specialist in Roodepoort who will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to both new and existing customers. As part of the Jonsson team, you’ll be at the forefront of connecting customers with the right solutions, ensuring that their needs are met with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Customer Relationship Management
- Gain a complete understanding of our full range of workwear products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by connecting them with the right products to meet their needs.
- Engage directly with customers, addressing queries, concerns, and taking incoming calls.
✅ Order Management & Quotations
- Assist customers by preparing quotations for current and future orders.
- Ensure new orders are captured and processed efficiently, managing the flow of orders and coordinating with External Advisors as needed.
✅ Product Availability & Merchandising
- Ensure that products are consistently well-stocked and displayed to the highest standard.
- Take responsibility for ensuring product availability, keeping the customer experience seamless and efficient.
✅ Payment Processing & Cash Management
- Process customer payments at Point of Sale (POS) and handle cash desk responsibilities when required.
✅ Weekend Availability
- Be available to work on weekends, ensuring that customer needs are met during high-demand periods.
Required Skills & Experience:
✔ Previous Experience: Experience in a similar customer support or retail role focused on providing excellent customer service.
✔ Communication Skills: Well-spoken with a professional telephone manner, able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
✔ Proficiency in MS Office: Advanced knowledge of Excel (spreadsheets), Word, and Outlook. Experience with Syspro is preferred.
✔ Language Skills: Fluency in both spoken and written English. Additional language skills will be an advantage.
