Job Overview

This EPWP Project Support opportunity is designed to provide unemployed youth with workplace experience in data management, reporting, and administrative support within government environmental programmes.

The Team Leader: EPWP Reporting will support data capturing, reporting compliance, project coordination, and documentation processes within EPWP initiatives. This is a one-year fixed-term contract aimed at improving employability through structured work exposure.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support development and implementation of reporting tools and compliance systems
  • Coordinate and verify project documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain organised filing and data management systems
  • Reconcile attendance registers and flag non-compliance issues
  • Assist in analysing and updating monthly reporting data
  • Capture and compile Payment Progress Reports (PPR)
  • Extract and consolidate reporting data from internal and external systems
  • Monitor submission of participant proof for compliance tracking
  • Update weekly status reports using validated project data
  • Assist in meeting coordination and preparation of action minutes
  • Support administrative duties and ad hoc reporting tasks
  • Participate in data quality assessments and reporting
  • Assist in travel arrangements and claims submission
  • Develop and maintain EPWP reporting databases and tools

Qualifications

Education

Applicants must have:

  • A recognised Bachelor’s Degree OR National Diploma (3 years)
  • Qualification in a related field

Experience

  • 0–2 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Exposure to data management, reporting, or government systems is an advantage

Skills

  • Basic knowledge of data management and reporting systems
  • Understanding of EPWP and government structures
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Basic stakeholder engagement ability
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to travel and work extended hours
