🎯 Role Purpose

As a DCA: Data Analyst, you will analyze complex datasets, build predictive models, automate reporting processes, and provide insights to improve collections performance. You’ll support DCA operations with real-time data, dashboarding, and strategic analytics to enhance efficiencies and recoveries.

💼 Key Responsibilities

📊 Data Analytics & Insights

• Perform in-depth analysis using SQL Developer, Aqua Data Studio, and PowerBI

• Create dashboards and visual reports to present collection trends and KPIs

• Develop models to predict recoveries and forecast collection performance

• Identify and enrich DCA data for optimal file distribution and reporting

⚙️ Process & System Enhancements

• Build programs to automate alerts, sync files, and manage DCA file traffic

• Design a central SQL database for warehouse management and reporting

• Sync books weekly to ensure correct allocation across DCAs

📈 Reporting & Automation

• Standardize DCA reporting formats and automate performance dashboards

• Build performance scorecards, ranking reports, and predictive models

• Resolve data exchange issues and monitor file transfer protocols (SFTP)

• Present insights and propose recommendations to improve business processes

🤝 Stakeholder Management

• Host regular performance reviews with DCA Managers

• Attend to escalations, internal queries, and manage communication between Vodacom and DCA partners

• Collaborate across internal teams (Admin, Systems, Strategy, MI) for end-to-end efficiency

🎓 Minimum Requirements

🧠 Education:

• Matric

• Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics, Data Analytics, or related field

📈 Experience:

• 4+ years in Data Analytics, Data Science, or Data Visualisation

• Telecom industry experience preferred

🛠️ Skills & Tools:

• SQL and database design

• PowerBI / Qlik Sense dashboarding

• Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint

• Data modeling, reporting automation, statistical analysis

• Strong stakeholder engagement & communication

• Project and time management
