How to Apply: The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development (DOJ&CD) invites all unemployed graduates with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) to gain workplace experience in their field of study. Interested applicants must submit their applications for the Candidate Attorney Programme to the address specified in each post.

North West Provincial Office:

Application Process:

  • Use the new Form Z83, available from any Public Service Department or www.gov.za.
  • Include a detailed Curriculum Vitae.
  • Certified copies of ID, Senior Certificate, and the highest required qualification will be submitted by shortlisted candidates on or before the interview date.
  • Applications not complying with specifications will not be considered.
  • Pre-employment security screening will be conducted on RSA citizenship, credit record, and qualification verification.

Who Should Apply? Unemployed South African graduates with an LLB, who have not participated in any internship or Candidate Attorney Programme. These programmes are available in all provinces. Candidates applying outside their provinces must arrange accommodation, considering the stipend-based nature of the programme.

Note:

  • Separate applications are required for each office applied to, quoting the relevant reference number.
  • Successful applicants will be placed at their chosen centre for a 24-month period and remunerated with a stipend.
