The Department of Electricity and Energy invites suitably qualified graduates to apply for its Internship Programme for the 2026/2027 to 2027/2028 financial years. Key Responsibilities

• Participate in structured on-the-job training within the assigned unit

Qualifications

Education
Applicants must hold one of the following qualifications:

• Degree / BSc in Physics, Chemistry, Chemical or Nuclear Engineering

• National Diploma / Degree in Public Administration or Management

• National Diploma / Degree / BCom in Business Management

• Degree in Law or Bachelor of Laws (LLB)

• National Diploma / Degree in Internal Audit

• National Diploma in Administration

• National Diploma / Degree in Finance or Management Accounting

• National Diploma / Degree in Graphic Design or Integrated Communication Design

• National Diploma / Degree / BCom / BTech in Accounting or Financial Management

• Degree in Social Services, Psychology, or Social Work

• Degree in Supply Chain Management

• Degree in Office Administration

Experience

• No prior formal work experience required

• Must be a graduate seeking workplace exposure

Skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a professional government environment

• Computer literacy
