π― Role Overview
IDM is seeking an experienced, creative, and detail-oriented mid-weight Designer to join its Marketing Team. This Through-the-Line (TTL) role involves producing and maintaining creative assets across ATL and BTL channels, ensuring consistency across multiple brand identities while meeting business and marketing objectives.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Designer and Creative Team, contributing to daily creative execution, concept development, and continuous brand refinement. This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking, creative execution, collaboration, and compliance awareness.
π§© Key Responsibilities
π¨ Design & Creative Execution
ποΈ Design Through-the-Line (TTL) creative assets across multiple brand CIs
π‘ Develop new creative concepts aligned with business and brand objectives
β»οΈ Maintain, adapt, and update existing creative assets
π± Create visuals for social media platforms, mobile apps, and marketing campaigns
π§ Apply strategic thinking throughout the design process, not just execution
π€ Communication & Collaboration
π€ Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal creative and content partners
π§© Collaborate closely with the Creative Team and other business units when required
π οΈ Troubleshoot design challenges and resolve issues efficiently
π Compliance & Governance
βοΈ Ensure all creative outputs comply with industry standards, regulations, and internal brand policies
π Apply attention to detail to ensure accuracy, professionalism, and brand integrity

π Minimum Requirements
π Education:
Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification in Visual Communication Design, Graphic Design, or equivalent
π§βπΌ Experience:
βοΈ Minimum of 5 yearsβ experience in a similar design role
βοΈ Advertising agency experience and exposure to agile working methodologies (advantageous)
βοΈ Experience using Asana or similar project management tools (advantageous)
π οΈ Technical Skills:
π¨ Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop and Illustrator
π§© Familiarity with Figma or other UI/UX tools is a strong advantage
π Portfolio Requirement:
A compelling digital portfolio link is mandatory, demonstrating:

β’ Strategic problem-solving (not execution only)
β’ Strong application of multiple brand identities
