💡 About the Role:
As a Desktop Support Technician, you’ll be the go-to person for first-line IT support across the organization. Your role will be critical in ensuring the seamless operation of desktops, laptops, and IT systems — supporting both on-site and remote users.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Offer first-line technical support via ticketing system, phone, email, or face-to-face.

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on Windows and Mac platforms.

Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.

Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings using Active Directory.

Assist with software installations, patching, and version updates.

Support remote users with VPN, remote desktop tools, and connectivity issues.

Maintain a current inventory of IT assets and equipment.

Document all IT support interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system.

Participate in IT projects like system upgrades, rollouts, and deployments.

Train and guide users on IT policies, tools, and best practices.

Ensure compliance with IT security protocols and company guidelines.

Provide printer and endpoint support as needed.

Collaborate with IT peers to continually improve service delivery.
✅ What You’ll Need:

A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in desktop or IT helpdesk support.

Strong working knowledge of Windows & macOS environments.

Experience with Office 365, Active Directory, and Remote Desktop tools.

Familiarity with networking concepts like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.

Basic scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.

Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or ITIL Foundation will be advantageous.

Prior experience supporting enterprise environments (500+ users) is a bonus.
