TSU Group Holdings is looking for a motivated and technically skilled Junior Desktop Support Technician to join our IT department in Strand, Western Cape. This role is perfect for a candidate with at least three years of hands-on experience in desktop support or helpdesk environments and a passion for providing exceptional end-user service.

💼 Key Responsibilities:

Deliver first-line support to internal users via phone, email, and face-to-face, resolving hardware, software, and networking issues.

Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.

Perform system updates, software installations, and backups in line with IT best practices.

Assist with user account management (creation, modification, deactivation).

Support remote users and mobile workforces with Office 365 and VPN tools.

Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff and document all solutions clearly.

Participate in infrastructure projects and contribute to improvements in IT processes.

Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for support and knowledge sharing.
✅ Minimum Requirements:
-
3+ years’ experience in a helpdesk or desktop support role.

Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.

Proficient in desktop and peripheral hardware configuration and troubleshooting.

Basic networking understanding (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

Familiarity with Office 365 Admin Center and endpoint management tools.

Experience with ITSM platforms, preferably N-Able.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical terms to non-technical users.

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, MCDST, or equivalent are advantageous.

Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle.
