TSU Group Holdings is looking for a motivated and technically skilled Junior Desktop Support Technician to join our IT department in Strand, Western Cape. This role is perfect for a candidate with at least three years of hands-on experience in desktop support or helpdesk environments and a passion for providing exceptional end-user service.

💼 Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver first-line support to internal users via phone, email, and face-to-face, resolving hardware, software, and networking issues.

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.

  • Perform system updates, software installations, and backups in line with IT best practices.

  • Assist with user account management (creation, modification, deactivation).

  • Support remote users and mobile workforces with Office 365 and VPN tools.

  • Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff and document all solutions clearly.

  • Participate in infrastructure projects and contribute to improvements in IT processes.

  • Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for support and knowledge sharing.


✅ Minimum Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a helpdesk or desktop support role.

  • Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.

  • Proficient in desktop and peripheral hardware configuration and troubleshooting.

  • Basic networking understanding (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

  • Familiarity with Office 365 Admin Center and endpoint management tools.

  • Experience with ITSM platforms, preferably N-Able.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical terms to non-technical users.

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, MCDST, or equivalent are advantageous.

  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle.
