FEM
FEM is seeking a Developer to join our innovative team at our Head Office in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and modification of internal systems, including software analysis, design, programming, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting. You’ll work with multi-tier applications and collaborate with both clients and end users to ensure the success of our software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Software Development
Develop and maintain internal systems according to software development specifications.
✅ System Modifications
Make enhancements to existing systems by identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
✅ Collaboration
Work closely with project teams, clients, and end-users to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
✅ Technical Troubleshooting
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure optimal system performance.
✅ Agile & DevOps Methodology
Adhere to Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies in the development process.
Required Skills & Technologies:
💻 Foundational Technologies

Proficient in C# and ASP.NET (Dotnet 8 preferred)

Entity Framework (Core preferred)

Strong relational database experience (Oracle advantageous)

Cloud experience, preferably Azure

Familiarity with Angular and state management libraries (NGRX/NGSX)

Extensive experience with Git

Cosmos DB

Azure DevOps CI/CD

Angular Material and SCSS

Domain Driven Design, Mediator Pattern, Onion Architecture
