As a Development Engineer at AECI, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and industrializing high-reliability electronic systems for real-world industrial applications. Key Responsibilities:

Design advanced electronic circuits and embedded systems based on detailed specifications.

Build and test functional prototypes to validate designs.
-
Ensure system reliability in diverse operating environments.
-
Collaborate with software, mechanical, and production teams for seamless integration.
-
Deliver production-ready, cost-effective, and manufacturable designs.
-
Ensure all designs meet EMC compliance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
-
Contribute to the development of test equipment and validation procedures.
-
Produce detailed documentation in line with internal and industry standards.
-
Provide ongoing technical support and resolve post-deployment field issues.
-
Mentor junior engineers and promote continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications and Experience:
-
B.Eng or BSc Engineering (Electronics) or equivalent.
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience in electronic product development.
-
Expertise in analog and digital circuit design.
-
Proven skills in embedded systems design and C/C++ programming.
-
Experience with Altium Designer and PCB design.
-
Strong understanding of hardware-software integration.
-
Proficient in microcontrollers, FPGAs, and DSP systems.
-
Familiarity with communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, and Ethernet.

Skilled in circuit simulation tools such as LTSpice, PSpice, or MATLAB.

Understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFT (Design for Testability).

Experience with EMC/EMI compliance and relevant certification standards.

Competent in using test equipment like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and multimeters.

Knowledge of version control tools such as Git or SVN is advantageous.

Exposure to product certification and regulatory compliance processes is a plus.
