Position Overview: Distribution Support Administrator (Fixed-Term)

Momentum is looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Distribution Support Administrator (DSA) to join their team in Bloemfontein. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), IFA practice staff, and consultants. Your primary focus will be ensuring smooth business processes, handling new business applications, and engaging with stakeholders to deliver exceptional service.


Key Responsibilities

Sales and Service Support

📊 End-to-End Process Management:

  • Understand and manage processes for various product lines to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Address and resolve any inefficiencies in internal processes to enhance productivity and ease of operation.

🔐 Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and processes.
  • Present quotes and relevant documents to clients in a professional manner to maintain an ‘advice-led’ approach.

🔄 New Business Process:

  • Handle new business applications and ensure a seamless process from start to finish.
  • Engage with financial advisors to ensure requirements are understood and addressed promptly.
  • Maintain and update business records and client data on activity management systems.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

🤝 Building Relationships:

  • Maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all engagements are conducted in a professional manner, delivering expertise and support when necessary.

📈 Reporting & Training:

  • Prepare and support consultants with necessary reports, quote feedback, and updates on business activities.
  • Provide training to financial advisers on digital tools like Power BI and Campaign Master.

Business Efficiency & Development

🔄 Operational Improvements:

  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and business effectiveness.
  • Contribute to risk identification and process improvements to ensure smooth service delivery.

Collaboration & Personal Growth

  • Participate in ongoing learning and development to enhance professional knowledge.
  • Build productive relationships with peers, clients, and other stakeholders to contribute to the company’s growth.

Key Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:
🎓 Educational Qualification:

  • An office administration qualification or a business-related degree (NQF 7).

💼 Experience:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in financial services (essential).
  • Experience in the insurance industry and within the Momentum Distribution Services (MDS) Sales environment is preferred.

📊 Skills:

  • Strong understanding of sales processes, compliance requirements, and administrative systems.
  • Ability to engage effectively with financial advisers and manage business applications efficiently.
