Job Overview

The Graduate Internship Programme provides an opportunity for graduates to gain practical experience in government operations and energy sector management. Interns will support departmental functions, assist in policy implementation, and acquire valuable exposure to public administration, energy planning, and regulatory processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in research, analysis, and reporting on energy policies and projects

  • Support administrative and operational processes within the department

  • Contribute to drafting reports, presentations, and official documentation

  • Provide assistance in financial management, auditing, or supply chain operations depending on placement

  • Collaborate with teams on projects aimed at improving energy efficiency and sustainability

  • Participate in workshops, training, and mentorship opportunities


Qualifications

Education

  • Degree/BSc in Physics, Chemistry, Chemical or Nuclear Engineering

  • National Diploma/Degree in Public Administration, Management, Accounting, or Finance

  • Degree in Law (LLB)

  • Degree/Diploma in Graphic Design, Communication Design

  • Degree in Social Services, Psychology, Social Work, Supply Chain Management, or Office Administration

Experience

  • Recent graduates with strong academic records

  • No prior work experience required, but internships or relevant projects are advantageous

Skills

  • Strong analytical and research skills

  • Good communication and teamwork ability

  • Attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Ability to work in a structured government environment

  • Professionalism and integrity in handling confidential information
