Position Overview:
As an Employee Relations Specialist at Sasol, you will be responsible for providing expert Employee Relations consulting services to the organization. You will ensure compliance with legal frameworks, resolve employee-related challenges, and drive positive, collaborative relationships within the workplace. Your role will support the development of integrated HR solutions to minimize risks while maximizing employee satisfaction and business productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Provide integrated Employee Relations services to ensure labor peace, stability, and effective conflict resolution within your assigned portfolio.
🔹 Monitor and drive compliance with disciplinary, grievance, and industrial relations processes.
🔹 Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including trade unions, management, employees, and external communities.
🔹 Educate and support line management in applying labor legislation, policies, and company standards.
🔹 Ensure fairness in all disciplinary actions and manage sensitive employee matters effectively.
🔹 Oversee the implementation of Employee Relations forums and maintain transparent communication across the organization.
🔹 Proactively address workplace challenges, providing solutions that minimize impact on morale and reputation.
🔹 Represent the organization in high-level grievance hearings and disputes, ensuring procedural and substantive fairness.

Skills & Qualifications:
🎓 A 3-4 year relevant university degree (preferably an LLB or equivalent).
📈 Minimum 6+ years of experience in Employee Relations, ideally within a large organization.
💼 Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage complex employee relations matters.
🧑‍🏫 Expertise in HR systems, labor legislation, conflict resolution, and relationship management.
⚖️ Excellent understanding of compliance and ethical practices within the workplace.
