🧑⚖️ Role Overview: Employment Counsel (MEA Region)
Are you a seasoned legal professional passionate about employment law? Join Atlas as Employment Counsel and play a strategic role in supporting our clients across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. You’ll provide critical legal advice and practical solutions on complex employment issues—from disputes and litigation to compliance and contracts.
This role is key to ensuring our operations align with international labor standards while enabling our clients’ success across jurisdictions.
🎯 Key Responsibilities

Deliver expert legal advice on employment law issues across the MEA region.

Draft and review employment contracts, termination documents, and workplace policies.

Guide HR teams and clients through disciplinary procedures and settlement negotiations.

Lead dispute resolution and manage litigation strategies.

Monitor legal developments and update internal stakeholders accordingly.

Support legal compliance related to GDPR, data privacy, and corporate governance.

Collaborate cross-functionally with senior leadership and external counsel.

Assist in employment law-related training and knowledge sharing initiatives.
✅ Minimum Requirements

Qualified Lawyer with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in employment law.

Strong knowledge of labor laws across the MEA region.

Proven experience in handling complex legal issues in fast-paced, global environments.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.

Client-facing experience with a professional and collaborative demeanor.

Understanding of data privacy, international HR practices, and corporate legal frameworks.
