About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Resident Engineer/Engineers Representative for renewable energy projects in Limpopo and Free State provinces. You will serve as the Owner’s Engineer during the construction phase of these projects, playing a pivotal role in delivering Balance of Plant (BoP) solutions.
You will be responsible for managing construction activities, ensuring that the project adheres to the approved plans, schedule, and specifications. The successful candidate will work independently, monitor site activities, and support project quality assurance and safety efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Construction Monitoring – Oversee all activities on the construction site and ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
✔️ Reporting – Document site activities and provide detailed reports to the Civil Lead Engineer.
✔️ Quality Assurance – Ensure materials and processes meet quality standards and timelines.
✔️ Collaboration – Support material inspections, safety inspections, and reviews.
✔️ Leadership – Assist in managing project timelines and ensuring the work is executed within schedule.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Minimum NTS Certificate (1,2,3) in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 10 years post-graduate experience in Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering, especially in renewable energy.
- Additional Preference: At least 8 years experience as a Resident Engineer/Engineers Representative on Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering projects in the Renewable Energy sector.
