🎯 Role Summary

Reddam House Waterfall seeks a passionate English Home Language Teacher to teach Grades 10–12. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality lessons, drive student achievement, and contribute to a progressive, high-performance academic culture.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well-planned English Home Language lessons.
• Create a stimulating, supportive learning environment.
• Maintain high professional standards in conduct, punctuality, and class preparation.
• Continuously reflect on and improve teaching practice.
• Provide academic support two afternoons per week.
• Assist with co-curricular activities two afternoons per week.
• Produce high-quality teaching and learning materials.
• Attend school events when required.
• Set, invigilate, and mark assessments and examinations.
• Write detailed and constructive report comments.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the School Head or line manager.

• Strong subject knowledge in English Home Language.
• Proven ability to motivate, extend, and challenge students.
• Flexible, reflective teaching style informed by feedback.
• Ability to assess learning effectively and provide meaningful feedback.

• Skilled in using technology for teaching and learning.
• IEB teaching experience is advantageous.
• Minimum of four years’ teaching experience (advantageous).
• Relevant teaching qualification and SACE registration.
• Strong organisational skills, reliability, and a positive attitude toward change.
• Demonstrated passion for teaching and academic excellence.
