🔍 Role Summary
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Enrolled Nurse or Phlebotomist to join our team in Mabopane. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate collection, safe handling, and timely transport of medical specimens, while also assisting with medical procedures and point-of-care testing under supervision.
✅ Key Responsibilities
1. Specimen Collection and Delivery

Collect pathology specimens correctly and efficiently in line with SOPs.

Ensure proper labeling, handling, and preparation of specimens for transport.

Deliver specimens, reports, and medical items to and from designated locations.

Address client queries and provide administrative support where needed.
2. Point-of-Care Testing
-
Perform near-patient testing (e.g., blood glucose, urinalysis) when required.

Assist clients with self-collection of samples under supervision.
3. Medical Support
-
Assist doctors or registered nurses in clinical procedures where necessary.

Provide support within medical environments as directed.
4. Quality Control and Compliance
-
Adhere to internal quality control processes and maintain compliance with SOPs.

Maintain safe working conditions in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act.

Support documentation and audit compliance activities.

🎓 Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
-
Qualified Medical Technician in Phlebotomy

Registered with HPCSA or SANC
-
Valid Driver’s License (for operating company vehicle)

Fluency in Afrikaans is essential

2–3 years relevant experience in phlebotomy or enrolled nursing
