🧾 JOB OVERVIEW

The Enrolled Nurse will be responsible for delivering safe, basic nursing care within their Scope of Practice. Working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, the role supports patient safety, accurate clinical documentation, and a positive patient experience in a hospital environment.

🛠️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver basic nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team

• Identify, prevent, and report risks to ensure patient safety

• Assist in creating a therapeutic and positive patient environment

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of nursing interventions

• Participate in building a learning environment that enhances staff competence

• Ensure accurate charting of utilised stock and equipment

🎓 QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Higher Certificate in Nursing or equivalent (Essential)

• Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses in specialised areas (Advantageous)

Experience

• No prior experience required

• 1 year post-qualification experience (Advantageous)

Skills & Knowledge

• Infection prevention and control

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)

• Knowledge of nursing scope of practice and relevant legislation

• Scientific nursing process

• Risk identification and patient observation skills

• Competence in standard nursing procedures
