Job Overview
Clinix Health Group Ltd is currently seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join their Maternity Ward in Soweto, Gauteng. This is a full-time role offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, where your expertise will directly contribute to the well-being of patients in the maternity unit.
As an Enrolled Nurse in the Maternity Ward, you will provide essential support and care to mothers and babies, ensuring that all duties comply with the standards set by the South African Nursing Council (SANC) and other healthcare governing bodies. This position offers an exciting opportunity for candidates with experience in female wards or maternity care, especially in a private hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Provide nursing care in accordance with SANC guidelines and National Core Standards.
🔹 Assist in planning, organizing, and prioritizing nursing duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
🔹 Maintain high standards of care, ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
🔹 Document patient care services accurately and maintain comprehensive medical records.
🔹 Foster a holistic patient experience by delivering patient-centered care that focuses on comfort, safety, and well-being.
🔹 Ensure adherence to the principles of Lean management, minimizing wastage while maintaining care quality.
🔹 Collaborate as part of a team, contributing to the overall goals of the maternity unit.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
✅ Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
✅ Enrolled Nursing qualification
✅ Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
✅ BLS (Basic Life Support) qualification
✅ Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a female ward or maternity care
✅ Experience in a private hospital environment is advantageous
✅ Computer proficiency is an added advantage
