Main Purpose of the Job:
As an Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary, you will deliver safe, basic nursing care under the guidance of registered nurses, contributing to positive patient outcomes and experiences. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure all patient care needs are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Basic Nursing Care:

  • Provide basic nursing care in collaboration with the healthcare team to support patient health and recovery.

  • Identify, prevent, and report risks to ensure patient safety and minimize complications.

🏥 Patient Experience & Environment:

  • Assist in creating a therapeutic environment to promote healing and comfort.

  • Contribute to a positive patient experience by providing attentive and compassionate care.

📋 Accurate Documentation:

  • Ensure that all nursing interventions are accurately documented and updated in patient records.

  • Maintain accurate records of stock usage and medical equipment.

💡 Learning and Development:

  • Participate in fostering a learning environment that encourages staff development and builds team competence.

  • Engage in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to enhance your nursing skills.

Required Qualifications:
🎓 Essential:

  • Higher Certificate in Nursing (or equivalent).

🎓 Desirable:

  • CPD courses for specific specialty areas in nursing.

Required Experience:
🌟 Essential Minimum Experience:

  • None required for applicants who are newly qualified.

🌟 Desirable Experience:

  • 1 year post-qualification experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Skills and Knowledge:
🔹 Infection Prevention & Control:

  • Knowledge of infection control procedures to minimize healthcare-associated infections.

🔹 Basic Life Support:

  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is essential.

🔹 Computer Literacy:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.

🔹 Scope of Practice for Nurses:

  • Understanding of the regulations regarding the scope of practice for nurses and midwives.

🔹 Patient Observation Skills:

  • Ability to conduct thorough and accurate patient observations to detect any changes in condition promptly.
