About the Role:
As an Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team committed to providing high-quality nursing care. Your role is essential in supporting registered nurses and ensuring that patients receive the best possible experience during their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering basic nursing care in collaboration with the wider healthcare team.

• Identifying, preventing, and reporting potential risks to safeguard patient safety.

• Assisting in creating a therapeutic, caring environment to enhance the patient experience.

• Maintaining precise and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.

• Participating in initiatives that foster continuous learning and staff development.

• Ensuring all utilised stock and equipment are properly documented and accounted for.

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

• Essential:

  • Higher Certificate in Nursing (or an equivalent qualification).

• Desired:

  • Participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses related to paediatric or other specialist care areas.

Experience:

• Essential: No prior experience required (newly qualified nurses are welcome to apply).

• Desired: 1 year of post-qualification experience, ideally within a paediatric care setting.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Infection prevention and control best practices.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office suite).

• Strong knowledge of nursing regulations, including Scope of Practice for Nurses and Midwives.

• Proficiency in patient observation, risk identification, and nursing procedures.

• Understanding of relevant healthcare legislation and the scientific nursing process.
