🧭 Role Overview
As an Enterprise Sales Executive, you will be responsible for selling SailPoint’s market-leading identity management solutions across South Africa. You’ll engage with end-users, partners, and C-level executives, delivering tailored value propositions that solve real-world cybersecurity challenges.
💼 Key Responsibilities

Consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue targets.

Lead all stages of the sales cycle: from lead generation to proposal, negotiation, and deal closure.

Develop deep industry knowledge and maintain a high level of market awareness in the Identity Management & Security sector.

Build and nurture long-term relationships with decision-makers, IT stakeholders, and partners.

Collaborate cross-functionally with technical sales teams, marketing, and post-sale account managers.

Utilize data-driven approaches to build sales strategies and identify opportunities.

Represent SailPoint at virtual and in-person industry events, client meetings, and partner engagements.
🧠 Skills & Competencies

Sales Mastery: Proven track record in a quota-driven sales environment, especially in enterprise IT or cybersecurity sales.

Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication, including persuasive C-level presentations.

Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of cybersecurity, identity security trends, and digital transformation.

Customer & Partner Focus: Demonstrates empathy, integrity, and responsiveness in all customer interactions.

Business Acumen: Able to understand client business models and position SailPoint’s solutions effectively.

Territory Management: Strategic thinking with the ability to manage a large, dynamic sales territory.
📚 Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 7 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years in identity management or related IT/security fields.

Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field preferred but not essential.

Must have proven negotiation and closing skills, with success selling complex software solutions.

Ability to travel up to 50% annually across South Africa to meet clients and partners.
