Job Overview
Eskom is recruiting five Engineering Graduates for its Engineer in Training Programme within the Eskom Real Estate division. This 24-month programme is designed to provide graduates with institutionalised and practical on-the-job training across engineering disciplines.
Successful candidates will gain exposure to engineering design processes, technical problem-solving, project support activities, and operational engineering environments while working under experienced professionals.
The programme is suitable for graduates in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, and Industrial Engineering disciplines seeking to build professional engineering careers within the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in structured engineering training and development programmes
- Assist with engineering design and technical solutions
- Support project planning, technical reporting, and engineering operations
- Apply engineering principles, standards, and design codes in assigned tasks
- Conduct technical analysis and problem-solving activities
- Assist with cost analysis and economic evaluations

Qualifications
Education
Applicants must possess:
- BSc Engineering Degree or BEng Qualification at NQF Level 8 with 480 Credits
