Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a talented kitchen team ensuring continuous growth and succession planning

  • Create innovative and high-quality menus that meet brand standards and delight guests

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food quality across all hotel outlets

  • Foster strong positive relationships with guests, team members, suppliers, and contractors

  • Promptly resolve any operational or guest-related kitchen issues to maintain exceptional service standards

  • Manage department budgets, forecasting, resource planning, and waste control to optimize profitability

  • Maintain compliance with all health, safety, food safety, and fire regulations

  • Regularly review menus with the Food & Beverage Manager to stay aligned with market trends

  • Ensure timely maintenance, hygiene, and hazard control within the kitchen environment

  • Manage staff scheduling, performance, and recruitment in line with hotel policies

  • Embrace environmental sustainability by adhering to food wastage programs and resource efficiency


What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or senior Sous Chef in a high-end hotel or first-class property

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop kitchen teams

  • Creative approach to menu development and food production with high quality standards

  • Business-savvy mindset, capable of managing financial and operational kitchen performance

  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Relevant trade qualification (valid certification may be required)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is an advantage

  • Management certification is a plus
