🌟 Job Purpose
As a Facilitator at TIH, your role is to foster an interactive learning environment that bridges theory with real-world application. You’ll be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating engaging learning sessions, ensuring employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in their roles.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
📚 Learning and Development Program Delivery

Facilitate engaging face-to-face and virtual training sessions.

Encourage learner participation through real-world activities and open conversations.

Adapt delivery methods to suit diverse learner needs while maintaining learning objectives.
🤝 Stakeholder Engagement

Build strong relationships with learners, managers, and internal stakeholders.

Collaborate with business units to ensure learning content aligns with company goals.

Engage actively with the Learning Management System (LMS).
🧠 Learning Content Design

Develop and refine course content, ensuring it’s relevant and impactful.

Apply a variety of instructional methods and assess their effectiveness in real-time.

Modify facilitation approaches to optimize understanding and retention.
🚀 Leadership Development

Design and deliver leadership development initiatives.

Integrate behavioural and theoretical elements into leadership training programmes.
📈 Learning Needs Analysis

Identify performance gaps and training needs through data analysis.

Recommend suitable Learning & Development solutions.
🛠️ Business Alignment

Stay informed about business challenges and align training with strategic goals.

Use logical reasoning to refine learning approaches and solve training-related problems.

Maintain and enhance your professional capabilities through ongoing learning and accreditation.
🧾 Documentation and Reporting

Prepare training plans, materials, and reports.

Manage and update attendance records in the LMS.
🏫 Training Room Management

Ensure the training environment is professional, equipped, and conducive to learning.

Monitor adherence to training room code of conduct.
🎓 Education & Experience Requirements
Minimum Qualification:

Grade 12 / SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential)
Experience:
-
2–4 years in a facilitation role within the insurance industry (Essential)

Learning & Development industry experience (Advantageous)
-
Operational insurance background (Advantageous)
