Bryson Charitable Group is seeking a dedicated Family Support Worker to provide targeted emotional and practical support to families with children aged 0–17. You will work directly within family homes to empower and equip them with the tools and skills to overcome life’s challenges.
This is a meaningful opportunity to work at Tier 3 of the NI Family Support Model, providing essential early intervention services to families facing multiple and complex difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct emotional and practical support to families in their homes.

Promote positive parenting by guiding and modelling effective techniques.

Assist in creating consistent and nurturing daily routines (e.g., mealtimes, bedtimes, schoolwork).

Support families in addressing behavioural issues constructively.

Develop and deliver tailored interventions with measurable positive outcomes.

Manage a small caseload of families and provide tailored support over a 12-week period.

Participate in case reviews, multi-disciplinary meetings, and family planning sessions.
Essential Requirements:

QCF Level 3 qualification in Child Care or an equivalent recognised certification.

At least 1 year of paid or unpaid experience working with children or families.

5 GCSEs including English Language.

Experience planning and facilitating group activities.

Understanding of the challenges facing families under stress.

Practical knowledge of family dynamics and coping strategies.

Valid driver’s licence and access to personal transport.
