๐ Role Overview
As a Field Sales Account Executive, you will drive adoption of Yocoโs integrated payments solutions within the food and beverage, retail, and related sectors in Pretoria. Your role is to identify new business opportunities, develop strong merchant relationships, and ensure the delivery of seamless, tech-enabled workflows that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

Hunt new opportunities and drive business growth within your territory.

Prospect for leads, qualify opportunities, negotiate, and close deals with merchants and partners.

Build and nurture long-term relationships with business owners.

Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Collaborate with marketing, operations, and customer success teams to onboard and support new merchants.

Provide field insights to refine pricing, product features, and go-to-market strategies.

Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM data.

Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities.

Represent Yocoโs brand and solutions professionally in the market.
๐ Requirements

5+ years of solution sales experience in fintech, SaaS, or integrated POS systems.

Experience in the food and beverage, retail, or health and beauty sectors (or adjacent industries).

Proven ability to sell into complex environments with multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles.

Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
-
Self-motivated, results-driven, and resilient in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to manage own pipeline and operate independently.

Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

Technical literacy: comfortable engaging with APIs, integrations, and ecosystem platforms.

Valid driverโs license and own transport for field-based work.
