About the Role:
This entry-level role is designed to provide you with intensive, hands-on training and mentorship from experienced engineers. You will learn to inspect, maintain, service, and repair NOV’s cutting-edge rig equipment both offshore and onshore, developing the technical skills and confidence needed to excel in the oil and gas equipment sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform service, repairs, overhauls, inspections, and fault identification on NOV rig equipment globally.

  • Complete and maintain detailed documentation including daily reports, service records, and parts lists.

  • Interpret engineering drawings and schematics to troubleshoot and correct faults; redline documents as needed.

  • Collaborate with management, engineering, quality assurance, and HSE teams to resolve equipment issues and recommend operational improvements.

  • Be available for international travel on an ad-hoc basis, driven by business and customer needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Time-served Engineer or recent graduate in a relevant field.

  • Higher National Certificate (HNC) or equivalent in Mechanical, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.

  • Basic knowledge of installation, commissioning, fault finding, and repair of heavy machinery in an automation or offshore environment.

  • Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is essential.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Knowledge of electrical systems is a bonus.
