Job Summary:
As a File Transfer Engineer Expert, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing our file transfer systems. This includes setting up and configuring SFTP, FTPS, and MFT solutions to ensure smooth and secure file transfers across the organization. Your role will include driving operational and strategic initiatives, troubleshooting complex issues, and mentoring junior engineers. You will work with a variety of teams to ensure the integrity and efficiency of our file transfer operations.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ System Configuration & Management: Set up, configure, and optimize file transfer systems like SFTP, FTPS, and MFT solutions. Ensure their continuous smooth operation.
✅ Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve file transfer processes, making them more efficient and reliable.
✅ Security & Compliance: Implement encryption protocols to ensure secure file transfers and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.
✅ Troubleshooting & Support: Provide 24/7 support for critical file transfer issues, including troubleshooting protocol errors and connectivity issues.
✅ Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with network, firewall, and system administrators to troubleshoot connectivity issues and tailor solutions for business units.
✅ Documentation & Training: Document configurations, troubleshooting steps, and processes while mentoring and training junior team members.
✅ Project Management: Lead or participate in projects aimed at upgrading or implementing new file transfer solutions, ensuring project goals are met on time and within budget.

🎓 Security Expertise: In-depth knowledge of encryption standards and secure file transfer protocols.
🎓 Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues efficiently.
🎓 Leadership & Project Management: Demonstrated leadership abilities, especially in managing projects and teams.
