Job Overview
The Finance Administrator will support both finance and operations teams, handling administrative, financial, and debtor-related tasks.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in SAP, reconciliations, and debtor management, who are looking to grow in a dynamic environment that combines finance with operational support.
Key Responsibilities
Administration & Reporting
- Perform daily reconciliations, invoicing, and credit notes
- Maintain filing systems, mailboxes, and internal records
- Prepare management meeting agendas and minutes
- Compile monthly sales, statistics, and operational reports
- Update pricing and stock sheets
Financial & Debtors Management
- Allocate and reconcile customer payments on SAP
- Monitor debtor accounts and collections
- Follow up on outstanding payments and request remittance advice
- Maintain ageing reports and open item reports
Stock & Container Management
- Track container movements across regions
- Manage stock control processes (issuing, receiving, storage)
- Maintain accurate barcode and system records
Operational Support
- Process purchase orders and verify invoices
- Assist with delivery tracking and distribution coordination
- Ensure all documentation (PODs, delivery notes) is accurate and filed
General Duties
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Support reporting, scheduling, and team coordination
- Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks
Qualifications
Education
- Relevant qualification in Finance or Administration (advantageous)
Experience
- Experience in finance administration, debtors, or operations support
- Strong working knowledge of SAP (essential)
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Time management and multitasking ability
