πŸ’‘ Project Overview

Palladium is seeking a Finance and Admin Officer for the EpiC project in South Africa, funded by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and USAID. The EpiC project focuses on achieving and maintaining HIV epidemic control in South Africa from 2019 to 2027. As part of the Palladium team, you will be supporting the Government of South Africa’s supply chain management and operations to ensure the effective delivery of this crucial project.


πŸ”‘ Key Responsibilities

βœ”οΈ Financial Reporting & Integrity – Ensure the accuracy of financial reports, following Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
βœ”οΈ Bank Reconciliations & VAT Reports – Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and VAT reports.
βœ”οΈ Travel Coordination – Manage project-related travel arrangements efficiently.
βœ”οΈ Procurement & Supplier Management – Prepare procurement packages, manage suppliers, and handle payment vouchers, including staff claims and reimbursements.
βœ”οΈ Operational Support – Provide administrative and coordination support between operations and technical teams.
βœ”οΈ Office Management – Oversee general office operations, manage office supplies, and ensure office condition and maintenance.


πŸŽ“ Qualifications & Experience

  • Educational Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Finance, Business, or Project Administration (NQF Level 7)

  • Work Experience:

    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role

    • Experience working with USAID-funded projects is an advantage

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong problem-solving and structured thinking abilities

    • Detail-oriented with a focus on outcomes

    • Familiarity with USAID financial rules, regulations, and principles

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

    • Ability to maintain vendor relationships and coordinate travel

    • Knowledge of bookkeeping functions, VAT, and bank reconciliations
