🧾 Job Overview

The Finance (Creditors) Internship forms part of SAFCOL’s 12-month YES Internship Programme, designed to provide unemployed graduates with hands-on exposure to creditors management and financial operations. The programme aims to develop practical finance skills, improve employability, and prepare young professionals for future careers in accounting and financial management.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Assist with processing and reconciling creditor accounts

• Support invoice verification and payment preparation

• Maintain accurate creditors records and documentation

• Assist with resolving supplier and payment queries

• Support month-end finance processes

• Ensure compliance with SAFCOL financial policies and procedures

📚 Qualifications

Education:

• Diploma or Degree or NHC / N-Courses in:

  • Financial Management

  • Accounting

  • Bookkeeping

  • Cost & Management Accounting

Experience:

• No prior work experience required

• Must be an unemployed graduate

Skills:

• Strong numerical and analytical skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Basic computer literacy (Excel, Word)

• Good communication and organisational skills

• Willingness to learn in a structured finance environment

Additional Requirements:

• Must be 35 years of age or younger

• South African citizen
