Role Purpose:
We are looking for a Finance Intern to join our Group Technology COE. This role will give you exposure to various financial operations, analysis, and reporting tasks. As an intern, you will assist in financial tasks, support the finance team in day-to-day operations, and gain valuable hands-on experience that will enhance your career in finance.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Data Entry: Assist with maintaining financial records, recording transactions, and entering data into financial software systems or spreadsheets.
Report Preparation: Support the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and statements for internal and external stakeholders.
Financial Analysis: Perform variance, trend, and ratio analyses to evaluate financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with budgeting processes by gathering data, updating models, and preparing reports for budget meetings.
Account Reconciliation: Help reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other financial accounts.
Audit Support: Participate in audits and compliance reviews, providing documentation and assisting with audit preparations.
Research & Analysis: Conduct research on industry trends and financial regulations to support strategic decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with teams from accounting, treasury, and financial planning to coordinate activities and share information.
Financial Software Systems: Learn and use financial tools like SAP, Oracle, and QuickBooks for analysis and reporting.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative support, including scheduling, organizing files, and handling correspondence.
Professional Development: Attend training sessions and networking events to grow your skills and build your professional network.

Requirements:
✔️ Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
✔️ Academic Excellence: Strong background with coursework in financial accounting, managerial finance, and financial analysis.
✔️ Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, functions, data analysis). Familiarity with financial software is a plus (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks).
✔️ Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret financial data, analyze trends, and draw insights.
✔️ Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
✔️ Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
✔️ Internship Experience: Previous internship experience in finance or related fields is preferred but not required.
