The SAFCOL Finance (Debtors) Internship forms part of the 12-month YES Internship Programme, designed to provide unemployed graduates with meaningful workplace exposure and practical financial experience.

Interns will be placed according to organisational needs and will gain hands-on experience that enhances employability and professional growth within a structured learning environment.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Assist with debtor account management and reconciliations

• Support invoicing, collections, and financial record-keeping

• Capture and maintain accurate financial data

• Assist with basic financial reporting and documentation

• Support the finance team with day-to-day administrative tasks

• Comply with SAFCOL financial policies and procedures

📚 Qualifications

Education:

• National Diploma or Degree in:

  • Finance

  • Cost & Management Accounting

Experience:

• No prior work experience required

• Applicants must be unemployed graduates

Skills:

• Basic financial and numerical skills

• Good attention to detail and accuracy

• Computer literacy (MS Excel, Word)

• Good communication skills

• Willingness to learn and work in a structured environment

Additional Requirements:

• Must be 35 years of age or younger

• South African citizen
