About the Role

This 6-month contract Financial Accountant position is ideal for a self-driven and analytical professional ready to make a tangible impact. You’ll be part of a fast-paced finance team focused on operational excellence, revenue assurance, audit preparation, and reconciliation oversight.

You’ll work with large datasets, enhance internal processes, and help maintain financial integrity across systems, ensuring compliance and accuracy every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of internal process flows, systems, and operational requirements.

• Perform revenue assurance checks to align billing systems with partner agreements.

• Monitor and follow up on receivables and payables, ensuring timely processing in line with SLAs.

• Review and approve reconciliations performed by the Reconciliation & Settlement Team.

• Identify discrepancies in reconciliations and escalate issues for resolution.

• Compile audit working papers and documentation for external auditors.

• Drive operational improvements by implementing finance best practices.

What You Bring

• Part-qualified or newly qualified CA(SA).

• Strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.

• Previous external audit experience is highly advantageous.

• Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, large datasets).

• Exposure to process automation tools and techniques.

• Experience managing and analyzing large volumes of financial data.

• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
