Key Responsibilities
As a Financial Accounting Intern, you will:
💼 Assist with Financial Reporting
- Support the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Help with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
📊 Support Financial Audits and Controls
- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring financial records are accurate and in compliance with regulations.
- Help maintain and manage accounting records, including invoices, payments, and receipts.
📑 Manage Accounting Documentation
- Assist in reconciling accounts, tracking expenditures, and ensuring that financial transactions are properly documented.
- Support the processing of financial transactions, including bank reconciliations and account verifications.
🗂 Collaborate with the Finance Team
- Work closely with senior financial staff to assist in budget preparation and analysis.
- Participate in financial analysis and forecasting to support decision-making processes.

📜 Qualifications
- A National Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A Postgraduate Qualification in Accounting or Finance will be advantageous.

- South African Citizenship is required.
- First-time internship participants: Applicants must not have participated in any internship programme at any public or private institution before.

- A certified copy of your academic record, reflecting a 65% average in your final year of study
- SAQA accreditation (if applicable for foreign qualifications)
