Job Description
As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring financial excellence for the Central and Coastal Southern Africa clusters. You will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, revenue analysis, compliance, and business partnering to drive strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Financial Management:
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Implement strategies to prevent and resolve bad debts.
- Provide support in revenue management and investment decisions.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
✅ Revenue Analytics & Business Partnering:
- Analyze key business drivers for strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Model and review client deals, ensuring financial accuracy.
- Conduct financial reviews of incentive contracts.
✅ Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure deals and spending approvals comply with policies and procedures.
- Maintain data integrity and proper documentation of financial assumptions.
- Provide guidance to business partners on budgeting and financial commitments.
✅ Relationship Management:
- Collaborate with business and regional teams for financial performance alignment.
- Proactively manage multiple incentive deals and align priorities with leadership.
- Maintain strong relationships with finance partners in SSA and CEMEA Hub.
✅ Critical Success Factors:
- Deliver financial excellence and drive business growth.
- Work seamlessly with stakeholders to remove barriers and execute strategies.
- Listen and learn from business stakeholders to support their objectives.
Qualifications & Skills
👥 Leadership:
- 2+ years of experience in a multinational business environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
- Experience in Payment Technology, Consulting, FMCG, or Telecom is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with executive management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
📊 Technical Expertise:
- Degree in Accounting or professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
- Strong FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) skills and financial modeling experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (Power BI and IBM Cognos TM1 a plus).
