🧾 Internship Overview

As a Financial Analyst Intern, you will support the finance team in delivering critical business insights through data, forecasting, and reporting. You’ll gain hands-on experience with real-world financial models, performance tracking tools, and Amazon’s strategic planning processes.

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Support month-end close and assist in developing management reporting tools.

• Conduct variance analysis and contribute to cost-efficiency initiatives.

• Track performance metrics, analyze data trends, and build predictive financial models.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to influence strategic business decisions.

• Present insights that drive business improvements and boost productivity.

🎓 Minimum Requirements

• Must be available full-time (40 hours/week) for 6 months starting Feb/March 2025.

• Recently graduated or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.

• Fluent in English (written and verbal – Level C1 or higher).

• Based in or willing to relocate to Cape Town, South Africa.

✅ Preferred Qualifications

• Academic background in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics, or Mathematics.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivots, lookups, arrays, conditional formatting).

• A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.
