Job Title: Financial Manager
Minimum Requirements
- Education: CA (SA) preferred.
- Experience: 3 years post-qualification experience as a Financial Manager or Auditor.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook) and Access.
- Sound knowledge of ERP systems and reporting systems.
- Experience with month-end reporting processes.
- Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management:
- Review balance sheet reconciliations monthly.
- Maintain and oversee all bank accounts.
- Coordinate, supervise, and review month-end close processes.
- Monitor and maintain the Syspro ERP for the group.
- Direct and supervise the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions.
- Manage and coordinate tax matters, including quarterly tax packs, monthly IT14SD reconciliations, VAT returns, etc.
- Reporting:
- Prepare monthly sales reports.
- Provide business support regarding financial matters.
- Approve credit limits and credit notes.
- Manage debtors’ age analysis and GRN trial balance.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts and monthly flash results.
- Auditing and Compliance:
- Manage and coordinate internal and external audits.
- Implement and maintain a control environment.
