Job Overview
The Fixed Assets Analyst will support the Fixed Assets team by processing, maintaining, and disposing of fixed assets within SAP. This role is responsible for ensuring the fixed asset register remains accurate, compliant, and aligned with group accounting policies. The position requires close engagement with internal stakeholders, strong process discipline, and a continuous improvement mindset to enhance efficiency and control across asset management processes.
Key Responsibilities

Process fixed asset transactions in SAP, including asset creation, maintenance, capitalization, and disposal

Set up and maintain project structures for budgeting, including Project and Work Breakdown Structures

Process allocations between projects and manage project closures at year-end

Perform fixed asset reconciliations in line with business requirements

Ensure timely capitalization of assets under construction

Prepare asset journals and manage unposted assets

Compile reports, metrics, and performance dashboards as required by the business

Support the Team Lead with process-related queries and operational guidance

Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs and SLAs are consistently met

Conduct root cause analysis for recurring or high-severity issues and implement corrective and preventive actions

Identify automation opportunities and collaborate with technology teams to improve system functionality

Adhere to internal control frameworks and support internal and external audit requirements

Maintain the fixed assets register in compliance with group accounting policies

Share insights, challenges, and process improvement opportunities with the Team Lead
-
Troubleshoot issues, maintain role training documentation, and assist with knowledge transfer to new team members
Qualifications
Education
-
2–3 year degree in Finance or a related field
Experience
-
3–5 years’ experience in a related fixed assets or finance role
-
End-to-end SAP knowledge and practical system application
Skills
-
Strong understanding of general finance principles and fixed asset accounting

Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and financial systems

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
-
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
